Ella Rose Bryan Tyndall, a cherished and versatile soul, passed away peacefully on June 12, 2026, at the Elizabethtown Nursing Center. Born on September 21, 1937, in Bladen County, she lived a full life marked by resilience, humor, and a steadfast devotion to her faith and family.

Ella was the beloved daughter of the late Ray Bryan and Nina Hester Bryan. Throughout her 88 years, she embodied a spirit that was both adaptable and uplifting. Known for her great sense of humor and a love of joking around, Ella brought joy and lightness to those around her, never once complaining despite life’s challenges. She had a remarkable ability to adjust to any situation, showing both strength and grace.

Her faith was a cornerstone of her life. Ella was a devoted member of Lennon’s Crossroads Baptist Church, where her presence was cherished by the congregation. She found joy in attending church and shared her vibrant spirit with fellow worshippers. Singing and yodeling were among her treasured hobbies, allowing her to express her unique and lively personality. Ella also had a passion for arts and crafts, spending time creating beauty that reflected her versatile nature.

A connoisseur of simple pleasures, Ella had a special fondness for vanilla milkshakes and a piece of pound cake without icing, small delights that brought her comfort and happiness.

Ella is survived by her brother, Hurbert Bryan (Linda) of Bladenboro, and her sisters: Eloise Shelton, Jane Armstrong, Linda Ward, and Nina Singletary (Isaac) . Her family also includes many nieces and nephews who carry forward her warmth and spirit. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Odell Tyndall, as well as siblings: Leroy Bryan, Ruby Singletary, Bostic Bryan, Geneva Dove, Wilton Bryan, Annie Armstrong, Nellie Dowless, and Elwood Bryan.

Ella's life was a testament to enduring love, joyful faith, and unyielding strength. She will be remembered fondly by all who knew her, for her laughter, her song, and the kindness she bestowed so freely. Her legacy lives on in the hearts of her family, friends, and church community.
