Ada Eloise Hodge

Ada Eloise Hodge, 92 of Leland entered into eternal rest on Friday , February 23, 2024.  Eloise was born on December 30, 1931, to the late Joshua Moore and Ada Storms Autry. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Lloyd Hodge; siblings, Geraldine Autry Mills, M.G. Autry, Dewey H. "Bobby" Autry, Jimmy Shepherd Autry. 

Eloise was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She enjoyed spending time with her family, baking and working in her garden. She was a member of Shady Grove Baptist Church. 

She is survived by sons, Billy Lloyd Hodge and wife Patricia; Dennis George Hodge; daughters, Cynthia Hodge Autry; Rose Hodge Simmons; brothers, J.M. Autry Jr; Darrell Glenn Autry; sisters, Mary Louise Autry White; Judy Autry Burnette; four grandchildren, Tonya Gibson Hill; Amanda Sue Gibson, Darryl Steven Malpass, Jeffrey Allen Hodge and ten great grandchildren. 

The family will receive friends on Monday, February 26, 2024, from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm at Bladen Gaskins Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, February 27, 2024, at 2:00pm at Old Field Cemetery with Rev. Charles F. Hodge officiating. 

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Lower Cape Fear Hospice.
