Alene McKeithan of Clarkton passed away on Friday, May 23, 2014. Mrs. McKeithan is preceded in death by her parents; Ed and Estelle Merritt; husband, Dougald McKeithan; daughter, Phyllis McKeithan; sister, Virginia Ward; and brother, Fred Merritt.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, May 28, 2014 at 10:30 am Clarkton Cemetery.
Mrs. McKeithan is survived by daughter; Patricia Cromartie and husband Steve; grandson, Jon Cromartie; brother, Erman Merritt and wife Marie of Whiteville and sister, Eva Edmund of Conway, SC.
