Amos Herring

Amos "Sonny" Dewey Herring, age 70, of Elizabethtown, formerly of Rutherfordton, NC passed away March 24, 2016. Mr. Herring is preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Dorothy Herring, and one daughter, Vickie L. Jones. He is survived by his wife, Betty Herring of the home, son Robert D. Herring, two daughters, Cathy M. Silvers and Sandra K. Herring, three sisters: Pauline Givens, Alice F. Herring, and Lillian Holt, three grandchildren: Amanda N. Jones, Tiffany L. Jones and Ashley M. Silvers and one great grandchild, Ryleigh Jones. The family will hold a private service at a later date.
