Annette’s long and fruitful life touched many corners of her community and family. She was known as someone who never met a stranger—her warm and welcoming nature drew people near, and conversations with her could go on for hours. Those closest to her often joked that you could simply follow the telephone cord to find her, lost in conversation with a friend, neighbor, or loved one. Throughout her life, Annette dedicated herself to providing for her family, instilling in those around her the importance of hard work, love, and loyalty. She also leaves behind her loving siblings: Eugene Storms, Linda Rising, and Nancy Buchanan, and a host of grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Their lives have been profoundly shaped by the love and wisdom Annette shared so freely.
She is preceded in death by her cherished husband, Jack Grimes; her father, Woodie Storms; and her mother, Laura Gooden Storms.
