Arsula Williamson

Arsula "Sue" Deboise Meares Williamson, 91, of Clarkton passed away Monday, March 26, 2018. She is preceded in death by her parents: Jesse and Emma Deboise, her husband Edgar R. Meares, one son: James Patrick Meares, and two brothers: J.L. Deboise, and J.D. Deboise. Sue is survived by five daughters: Barbara Elkins and husband (JR) of Clarkton; Rose Marie Heustess of Pinehurst; Retha Edwards and husband Mitchell of Clarkton; Cindy Meares of Lumberton and Linney Meares of Pinehurst; ten grandchildren: Samantha Elkins, Meares Heustess, Patricia Meares, Patrick Meares, Mark Hardgraves, Laura Batten, Ashley Bryan, Corey Bryan, Branden Dennis, and Amanda Dennis; 13 great-grandchildren: Abby, Molly, Kegan, Shaleigh, Audrey, Dalyn, Scarlett, Kaydin, Logan, Lily, Robert, Weston, and Kamryn and one great-great grandson: Noah.

The family will receive friends from 10-11:00 am on Thursday, March 29th at Bladen Gaskins Funeral Home in Elizabethtown followed by a funeral service at 11:00 am. Burial will follow the services in the Clarkton Cemetery.
