Aubrey "Ray" Williams

Aubrey “Ray” Williams of Harrells, NC born on May 27, 1948, in Bladen County went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, March 4, 2025, while at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center in Fayetteville, NC. He was 76 years old.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Harley Williams and Ida Robison Williams, one brother Harry Lee Williams and one nephew, Jeffery Chadwick. Left to cherish his memory are beloved wife, Kathleen Williams of the home, one sister, Debbie Chadwick and husband Dennis of Bladenboro and several nieces and nephews.

 Ray loved the outdoors especially hunting and fishing. He could often be found riding the golf cart looking for wild turkey tracks and talking on the phone with his coworkers and hunting buddies. Ray was a loving husband, uncle, and friend that left his own tracks in this life of compassion, laughter and love that will live on in the memories he made with all that knew and love him.

 The family will receive friends on Thursday, March 6, 2025, from 2-3 pm at the Friendship Bible Holiness Church on Mote Road in Harrells, NC. A funeral service will immediately follow the service at 3 pm with the Reverend Jimmy Tatum officiating. Burial will follow the services in the Henry Mote Family Cemetery (beside the church).
