Beatrice Savage

Beatrice Priest Savage, 87, of Tar Heel, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, September 7, 2011. She was the daughter of James C. Singletary, Sr. and Beatrice Bobitt Singletary.



She is survived by two sons: Randy Priest of Tar Heel and Gladwin "Bo" Priest, Jr. and wife, Gayle of Tar Heel; a daughter JoAnn Long and husband, Ray, of Southern Pines; one sister, Gertrude Singletary of Bladenboro; five grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.



She is preceded in death by her daughter Marie Lee Priest Pait, her husbands, Gladwin Priest and Gerald Savage; and a grandson, Dennie Ray Pait II.



The family will receive friends on Friday, September 9, from 6:30 - 8:30 PM at Bladen-Gaskins Funeral Home. Services will be Saturday, September 10, 2011, at 11:00 AM at Dublin Pentecostal Freewill Baptist Church with Rev. Joe Foster officiating. Burial will follow in the Tatum Cemetery.
