Betty Sheriff

Betty "Betsy" Jean Daughtridge Sheriff, 61, of Elizabethtown passed away on Thursday, January 10, 2019. She is preceded in death by her mother: Cathleen Wells Forbes, her father: Clyde E. Sessoms Sr., and one brother: Jimmy Connie. Betsy leaves behind her husband Chris Sheriff of the home, son: Chad Daughtridge (Jill) of Elizabethtown; three brothers: Dewight Connie (Judy), Jerry Sessoms, and Clyde Eugene Sessoms Jr., two sisters: Deborah C. Daniels (Roger), Joyce C. Surbaugh (Ross), one granddaughter: Samorah A. Daughtridge, several nieces and nephews and her beloved dog: Winston.

The family will receive friends from 12 -1 pm on Tuesday, January 15th at Bladen Gaskins Funeral Home Chapel in Elizabethtown followed by a funeral service at 1:00 pm officiated by Rev. Jim Woodruff. Burial will follow the services in the White Plains Presbyterian Church Cemetery
