Betty White

Betty Elmore White, 96, of Bladenboro passed away on Thursday, November 22, 2018. She was preceded in death by her parents: Walter Roland Elmore Sr. and Bessie Bridger Elmore, her husband: Henry James White Jr., two sisters: Jane Elizabeth Elmore and Annabel Smith, and three brothers: Walter, Frank, and James Henry Elmore. Betty is survived by one son: H.J. "Jimmy" White III of Concord; one daughter: Nancy Wyer (Roy) of Lumberton; a special friend and neighbor: Doris White, grandchildren: H.J. White of Mooresville (Amy), Betty Ann McPherson (Glenn) of Clarkton; Martin White of Bladenboro; Amanda and Erin Wyer of Lumberton; and great grandchildren: Sam and Meredith McPherson and Jake and Wesley White.

The family will receive friends from 1-2 pm on Monday, November 26, 2018 at First Baptist Church in Bladenboro followed by a 2 pm funeral service. Burial will follow the services in Pine Crest Cemetery. At other times, the family will receive friends at the home of Betty Ann McPherson, 941 Page Rd, Clarkton.
