Billy Eugene Ellington, age 66, of White Lake passed away on Saturday, August 2, 2014 at Cape Fear Valley Hospital in Fayetteville. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Libby Stafford, and his parents, Guy and Lucille Patterson Ellington.
He is survived by his wife, Sandra Ellington of the home; his children, Billy Ellington, Jr., Michael and Billy Stapleton, Melissa Brackin and Juanita Suthern, Kathleen Dattilo, Robin Ward and husband Donald and Debbie Stapleton; two brothers, Christopher and Jimmy Ellington; one sister, Peggy Smith; 22 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, August 6, 2014 at 2:00 pm at Lee's Chapel United Methodist Church, Greensboro, NC
