Brenda Smith Yarbrough

Brenda Smith Yarbrough, 77, of Bladenboro passed away on Saturday, January 25, 2025, at her home. Brenda was born on December 11, 1947, to the late Dillon L. and Berta Inez Beck Smith. She is preceded in death by her parents, and brother, Jerry Smith.

She is survived by her husband, Dewey Yarbrough of the home; son, Christopher Yarbrough and wife Keri of Bladenboro; sister, Bonnie Pendleton of Bladenboro; and two grandchildren, Kaylee and Kadin Yarbrough.

Brenda loved her family, but Kaylee and Kadin were the joy of her life. She enjoyed shagging, fishing clamming, and working in her flowers. Brenda was an animal lover. She worked at Lumberton Urology where she enjoyed getting to know her patients and taking care of them. Her gentle and loving spirit will be missed by all who loved and knew her.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, January 29, 2025, 2:00pm at Pinecrest Cemetery in Bladenboro with Reverend Kevin Kinlaw officiating.
