Carla Sue Ezzell Hudson

Carla Sue Ezzell Hudson, 56, of Bladenboro passed away peacefully at home on Friday, April 18, 2025. She was the loving daughter of the late Carl Ezzell and Ruth Gavin Ezzell and sister to the late Kathy Spell.

Carla leaves behind her fiancé, Dewey Sykes of the home, one son, Collin Trey Hudson (Semaj) of Raeford, one stepdaughter Tiffany Sykes, two grandchildren Collin Hudson and Saraj Ford, and her fur babies.

Carla was a compassionate, giving lady with a bubbly personality. She had a gift of gab and rarely met anyone she couldn’t strike up a conversation with. Her family was her heartstrings, and she loved nothing more than spending time with them whether eating at Melvins, finding an adventure or just simply being at home together. Carla will always be remembered for her genuine concern for others and her beautiful smile.

A private service will be held at a later date.
