Carol Burney

Carol Adams Burney, age 55, of Elizabethtown passed away on Tuesday, November 22, 2011 at Cape Fear Valley Hospital in Fayetteville. Carol was born in Bladen County on October 13, 1956 to the late Eugene L. Adams and Hazel Bordeaux Adams. She was preceded in death by her parents.



She is survived by her companion, James Fields of the home; two daughters, Wendy L. Everette of Elizabethtown and Tiffany Dowless and husband Woody of Elizabethtown; three sisters, Juanita Smith of Elizabethtown, Donna Norris of Elizabethtown and Mary Norris of Stedman.



A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 26, 2011 at 2:00 pm at Bladen-Gaskins Funeral Home with Rev. Jason Williams officiating.



In Lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a charity of one\\'s choice.
