Carol Savage

Carol DeVane Savage, 45, of Council passed away Thursday, Dec.6. She was a nurse at Columbus Regional Health Care System for 25 years.



She is predeceased by her parents, Neil Julian and Charlotte Heustess Savage.



She is survived by a daughter, Lauren Savage of the home; two brothers, Anthony Savage of Council and John Savage and wife, Sarah of Clarkton; two sisters, Jenny Smith of Council and Melanie Howell and husband, Glen of Clarkton; four nephews, Nathan Howell, Aaron Howell, Brandon Smith and Johnathan Savage; two nieces, Courtney Brennan and Danielle Baxley.



The family will receive friends, Saturday, Dec. 8, 6-8 pm at Bladen-Gaskins Funeral Home. Services will be Sunday, Dec.9, 3:00 PM, at Whites Creek Baptist Church with Rev. Kincy Burrow officiating. Burial will follow at the Savage Family Cemetery.
