Carol Strickland

Carol Elizabeth Strickland, 73, of Bladenboro entered into eternal rest Tuesday, May 12, 2009 at Southeastern Hospice House in Lumberton.



Carol was born in Bladen County on October 5, 1935. She was the daughter of the late Levie and Appie Watterson Cain of Bladenboro, NC.



She was preceded in death by her parents and one son, Larry Strickland.



Carol is survived by her husband, Bobby Strickland of the home; one daughter, Jenel Strickland of Wilson; two brothers, Levie Cain, Jr. and Kenneth Cain both of Bladenboro; two sisters, JoAnn Edwards and Vickie Taylor both of Bladenboro; three grandchildren, Natalie, Nathan and Jody Strickland; two great grandchildren, Landri and Chloe\\' Strickland.



The family will receive friends on Thursday, May 14, 2009 from 6:00 until 8:00 pm at Galeed Baptist Church.



Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 15, 2009 at Galeed Baptist Church at 2:00pm with the Rev. Mack Roberts officiating. Burial will follow in Kelly Cemetery.
