Catherine Holloman

Mrs. Catherine \\"Katie\\" Steele Holloman, 82 of Bladenboro entered into eternal rest on Monday, February 2, 2009.



Mrs. Holloman was born on December 24, 1926, to William M. and Lillie Holloman Anderson; she is preceded in death by her parents and husband, Clarence Holloman.



The family will receive friends on Tuesday, February 3, 2009 from 6:00 until 8:00 pm at Bladen-Gaskins Funeral Home. At other times the family will receive friends at the home of Rev. Larry and Elizabeth Hayes, 707 S. Main St. Bladenboro.



Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, February 4, 2009, at 11:00 am at Sandy Grove Baptist Church with the Revs. Jerry Beck and Larry Hayes officiating. Burial will follow in Maplewood Cemetery in Mt. Olive.



Mrs. Holloman is survived by two sons, Ray Holloman of Littleton and Allen Holloman of Durham; two daughters, Elizabeth Hayes of Bladenboro and Cynthia Dowless of Dublin; a brother, Willard Anderson of Dudley and a sister, Carol Menley of Goldsboro; eight grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
