Christopher Glen Rose

Christopher Glen Rose, 58, of Elizabethtown passed away peacefully at his home on Sunday, October 11, 2026. He was born on November 16, 1967, in Hampton, Virginia, the son of the late Glen Rose and Nellie Veonia Carroll Rose. He was preceded in death by his son, Jonathan Rose, brother Donald Rose and sister Diane Rose.

Left to cherish his memory are his beloved spouse Frances H. Rose of the home, three sons Anthony Rose of Bladenboro, Adam Rose (Audrey) of Elizabethtown and Danny Rose of Louisiana, 13 grandchildren Gabby, Abby, Jeghton, Diane, Kimberly, Hunter, Ethan, DJ, Dart, Adam Glen Rose Jr., Ava Penny, Ayden Penny and Braydon Penny, his two sisters Linda Sue Armstong of Virginia, Cindy Guyton of Elizabethtown, and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Christopher spent 26 years in the food industry and was the owner and operator of Mr. Good Burger on Hwy 74 in Lumberton, NC for about 6 years. He enjoyed traveling around the counties with Big Daddy’s Catering to cater for the local county fairs and festivals. Watching the smiles on folks’ faces while enjoying good food always brought him much joy. His other passions included spending time with his family, fishing and eating seafood. Any day was not complete without watching an episode or two of the Andy Griffith Show or Bonanza, even if he may fall asleep in his favorite chair before it was over. Those wonderful memories of family gatherings around the table sharing love and laughter will continue to live on in the hearts of all that love him.

A celebration of his life will be held on November 21, 2026. The location and time will be announced when finalized.
