Crystal Monroe

Crystal Renee Monroe, 33, of Clarkton passed away June 10, 2013. She is preceded in death by her mother Rosaland Lorraine Monroe. She is survived by her father Edward L. Monroe of the home, her partner Jessica Lee of Clarkton, two brothers: Edward Lee Monroe Jr. of Hope Mills and Jonathan Lee Williams of Clarkton, two sisters: Nadina Michelle Monroe of Charlotte and Katrice Murchison of Elizabethtown, two godsisters: Kristal Robinson of Elizabethtown and Brandi Davis of Tennesssee, and a special cousin Casandra Murchison.
Crystal loved sports and was a great coach in Dixie Youth Baseball in Clarkton. She was a jokester at heart and was passionate about her work at the Columbus County Health Dept. She loved her family dearly and will be greatly missed by all who loved her.
The family will have a Wake Service Friday, June 14, 2013 at Bladen Gaskins Funeral Home at 7:00 pm. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, June 15, 2013 at 1:00 pm at Clarkton School of Discovery followed by a burial at Patterson Cemetery at 1893 Jenkins Rd in Whiteville.
