Daniel Howd

Daniel Leonard Howd, 52, of Elizabethtown passed away on Sunday, April 22, 2018. He is preceded in death by his brother Danny Hedgepeth. Daniel leaves behind his father: Delmar Howd of Raleigh; mother: Alma Howd of White Lake; two sons: Aaron Howd and wife Katelyn of Garland; Austin Howd of New York City and one daughter: Summer Howd of Cerro Gordo.

Daniel loved his family, especially his mom and kids. He enjoyed bragging about them and talking about his trade. Daniel never met a stranger, always enjoyed finding out new things about people. He loved flowers and loved life. He leaves a great void for all those that knew and loved him.

The family will receive friends from 7-9 pm on Wednesday, April 25th at Bladen Gaskins Funeral Home in Elizabethtown. A graveside service will be held on Friday, April 27th at 3 pm at Beards Chapel Cemetery in White Lake.
