Danny Horace Strickland died April 8, 2017 at Cape Fear Valley Hospital in Fayetteville, NC.
He was born in Robeson County on October 24, 1958 to the late Horace Strickland and the late Yetta Strickland Watson. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother: David Michael "Mike" Strickland. Mr Strickland is survived by one son: Danny "Boo" Strickland, Jr.; two granddaughters: Taylor and McKenzie; his wife: Candy Strickland; one sister: Linda Strickland Locklear and husband Harold; one brother: Ronnie Strickland and friend Michelle; a host of other family members and a special friend: Barbara Byrd.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, April 13, 2017 from 6-8pm at Bladen-Gaskins Funeral Home in Elizabethtown, NC.
