Deborah Berenger

Deborah Lee Robeson Berenger, 59, of Clarkton passed away Sunday, September 7, 2025, while at New Hanover Regional Medical Center. She was born and raised in Dublin on October 25, 1965, the daughter of Vann S. Robeson and the late Flora Grimes Robeson.

She leaves behind her father; her devoted husband, Richard Berenger; stepson, Ryan Matthew Berenger; daughter-in-law, Ann Marie Berenger and two grandchildren: Conor and Benny Berenger.

Deborah was a talented and hardworking woman of faith. She attended UNC Pembroke where she received her master’s degree and worked as a Human Resources Manager for the family construction business. When not working, she enjoyed spending time with her family, reading, and writing books with the hopes of publishing her work someday. She will forever be remembered as a devoted, cherished wife, mother, and grandmother.

The family will receive friends from 12-2pm on Saturday, September 13, 2025 at Bladen Gaskins Funeral Home with a graveside service immediately following at 2:30 pm in the Tatum Grimes Cemetery in Tar Heel, NC with the Reverend Jami Lewter officiating.
