Dennis Luther Britt

Dennis Luther Britt, 68, of Butters, passed away peacefully on Monday, October 27, 2025, at the Golden Years Nursing Home in Falcon, North Carolina. Born on June 20, 1957, to the late Luther Thomas Britt and Mary Shaw Britt, Dennis was a cherished father and grandfather whose love for his family defined his life.

Dennis was preceded in death by his parents, beloved wife, Kathryn Britt, and his sister, Shelby Britt. Dennis is survived by his three sons: Jamie Britt of Cerro Gordo, Michael Britt of Fairmont, and Nathaniel Britt of Bladenboro. He took great joy in his role as a grandfather, loving his grandchildren—Natalie Britt, Jordon Oxendine, and Brandon Smith—with all his heart.

Throughout his life, Dennis cultivated various hobbies and interests that brought him immense happiness. He had a passion for collecting guns and coins, and he delighted in attending gun shows where he could connect with fellow enthusiasts. Dennis was also known to enjoy fishing, playing cards, and cherished moments eating at the Dixie Drive-In in Lumberton.

Friends and family are invited to honor Dennis’s memory during a Celebration of Life service at 1pm on Friday, October 31st, at the Bladenboro Chapel of Bladen-Gaskins, located at 800 N. Main Street, Bladenboro, NC 28320.
