Derek Melvin Singletary, age 41, of Bladenboro entered into eternal rest on January 5, 2013 at home.
Derek is survived by his mother Catherine S. Cartner and step-father Johnny Cartner of Bladenboro,one sister Tiffany Hunt, one brother Johnny Cartner Jr. of Whiteville, and father Melvin Singletary of Bladenboro.
Graveside services will be Wednesday, January 9, 2013 at 2:00 PM at Bryan Cemetery in Bladenboro. Rev. David Pait will be officiating.
Derek supported the children of St. Judes Hospital. Family requests that in lieu of flowers send memorials to St. Judes Hospital at 262 Danny Thomas Place Memphis, TN 38105.
