Dewey Guyton

Dewey Guyton, Jr., 71, of Bladenboro, died Wednesday, March 29, at Carolina Rehabilitation Center.



He graduated in 1953 from Bladenboro High School and attended North Carolina State College in Raleigh.



He was the son of the late Dewey D. Guyton, Sr. and Mary Davis Guyton. He was predeceased by his daughter, Patricia Guyton Hester.



He is survived by his wife, Jean Guyton; son, Durward Edmund Guyton; sister, Erma Joy Rush of Bristol, Tenn.; nephews, Brad and Doug Rush of Bristol, Tenn.; seven grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.



The funeral will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, April 1, at First Baptist Church, Bladenboro. The family will greet friends prior to the service, 10 - 10:45 a.m., and at other times at the home. The burial will be in Pinecrest Cemetery, Bladenboro.
