Dewey Russ

Dewey Anthony Russ, age 54, of Bladenboro entered into eternal rest on Thursday, November 3, 2011 at home. Dewey was born in Bladen County on June 25, 1957 to Webb and Gertrude Russ. Dewey worked for the NC Dept of Transportation. He was a very funny, loving, caring Christian man. He will truly be missed by his family, church family and friends.



Dewey is survived by his wife, Connie of the home; two sons, Joseph A. Russ and wife Natalie of Bladenboro and Aaron M. Russ and wife Sheila of White Oak; his parents, Webb and Gertrude Russ of Elizabethtown; one brother, Shane Russ of Bladenboro; four grandchildren, Aiden A. Russ, Allister M. Russ, Gaston V. Russ, and Keithan Russ.



Funeral services will be held on Sunday, November 6, 2011 at 2:30 pm at Galeed Baptist Church with Rev. Warren Hill officiating. The family will receive friends following the service. Burial will be held at Galeed Baptist Church Cemetery.
