Diann Hood

Diann Ratley Hood, 75, of Elizabethtown, peacefully passed away at her home on Friday, June 27, 2025. She was preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Becky Ratley, as well as her son, Steven Craig Patterson. Their memories will continue to be a comforting presence in the hearts of those she left behind.

Throughout her life, Diann cultivated deep connections with her loved ones. She is survived by her son, William Johnson, and his wife Amanda, who reside in Elizabethtown. Diann also leaves behind her treasured grandchildren: Steven Johnson, Juston Johnson, William Johnson III, Jeff Robert Johnson, and Caleb Hester, who were lights in her life and source of immense pride.

Diann had many interests that brought her joy; she enjoyed classic Westerns on television, indulged in reading novels, and had a fondness for Coke or Pepsi. These simple pleasures mirror her gentle nature and her ability to find joy in the little things in life. She will be remembered not only for her kindness and love but also for the lasting impact she made on everyone fortunate enough to know her. Her spirit will live on in the stories shared by her family and the cherished memories created throughout her life.
