Dixon Phillips, 90, of Bladenboro, passed away on Monday, November 4, 2019. He was preceded in death by his parents: John and Florence Phillips; wife, Velma Phillips; son, Michael Phillips; brothers: Ernest and B.R. Phillips. Dixon leaves behind his wife: Deborah Phillips of Holly Hill, SC; four sons: Johnny Phillips of Bladenboro, Allen Phillips of Wilmington, John Phillips of White Oak, Ben Phillips of Dublin; three daughters: Carola Gibbs of Clayton, Chiquita Stephenson of Clayton; Kayla Phillips of Dublin and six grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at 1pm on Saturday, November 9th at Bladen-Gaskins Funeral Home in Elizabethtown with a funeral service in the chapel at 2pm. Pastor Mark Simmons will officiate service. Burial will follow in the Allen Cemetery.
