Dolores Winstead

Dolores "Beck" McGraw Winstead, 88 of White Lake passed away peacefully Sunday, August 14, 2016 at Elizabethtown Nursing & Rehab Center.

Beck was born on March 25, 1928 to the late Albert Paul and Rhea Coffey Beck. She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard E. McGraw, Sr. and son, Richard "Ricky" E. McGraw, Jr., two brothers, Dr. Charles H. Beck of Fayetteville, NC and Paul Lynn Beck of Lenoir, NC, She was also preceded in death by her husband, Wylie K. Winstead who she married later in life.

She is survived by two daughters, Amy Shaw and her husband Mike of Elizabethtown and Lynne Krashner and her husband Doug of Clover, SC.

She graduated from Sacred Heart in Belmont, NC and Mercy School of Nursing. Beck was blessed with six grandsons, Bull Shaw and his wife Melinda, Richard "Sling" Shaw and Fiancée Blake Allen of Elizabethtown, Doug Krashner and wife Jana, Albert Krashner and wife Jackie, John Krashner and wife Mandy all of Clover, SC, Ricky McGraw of Raleigh, NC; Beck also has seven great grandchildren.

Family will receive friends on Thursday, August 18, 2016 from 2:00 until 2: 45 pm at Bladen-Gaskins Funeral Home prior to the funeral services. Funeral services will follow at 3:00 pm. Burial will follow at Elizabethtown City Cemetery.
