Dorothy Culbreth

Dorothy Matthews Culbreth, 70, of Elizabethtown passed away peacefully Monday, April 18, 2016 at Cape Fear Valley Hospital in Fayetteville. Her husband Donald Culbreth was at her side as was her daughter Brenda C. Harris. She is preceded in death by her parents, Beauford and Ledus Matthews, one sister, Lois Matthews, and one brother Larry Matthews.
Survivors include her loving husband of 52 years, Donald B. Culbreth of Elizabethtown, one daughter Brenda C. Harris and husband Tim Harris of Clinton, one brother Bobby Matthews and beloved sister-in-law Shirley Matthews of Elizabethtown, neice Anita M. Halcomb and husband Tony of Huntersville, NC and a treasured great nephew Matthew Halcomb of Arlington, VA.
The family will receive friends from 1-1:45 pm on Friday, April 22, 2016 at Bladen Gaskins Funeral Home in Elizabethtown followed by a funeral service at 2pm. Burial will follow the services in the Cain-Cashwell Cemetery on Sweet Home Church Rd in Elizabethtown.
