E.C. Bowen

Mr. Edgar Charles \\"E.C.\\" Bowen, 83, of Bladenboro, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, December 18, 2010.



Mr. Bowen was born on August 20, 1927 to the late P.M. and Emma Carter Bowen. He is preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Buddy Bowen; Horace Bowen and a sister, Esther Hester.



The family will receive friends on Monday, December 20, 2010 at Zion Hill Baptist Church from 6:00 until 8:00 pm



Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, December 21, 2010 at 2:00pm from Zion Hill Baptist Church with Rev. W.C. Baxley officiating. Burial will follow at Hickory Grove Cemetery.



Mr. Bowen is survived by his wife, Uldean Shaw Bowen of the home; his son, Charles Bowen of Bladenboro; his daughter, Becky Campbell of Bladenboro; a sister, Juanita Rhodes of Binghamton New York; and a grandson, Heath Campbell of Raleigh.
