Effie Ransom

Effie Lee Ransom, 70 of Bladenboro passed away on Monday, October 17, 2011. Effie was born on November 7, 1940 to the late Gaston and Mary Francis Russ Sykes. She is preceded in death by her parents; a grandson, Joseph and her sister, Stella.





A Graveside service will be held on Thursday, October 20, 2011 at 11:00 am at Singletary Cemetery in the Sandhills.



Mrs. Ransom is survived by her son, Mitchell Ransom of Bladenboro; her daughter, Barbara Norris of Bladenboro; her brother, Grady Sykes of Bladenboro; eight grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
