Eloise Packer

Eloise Hamilton Packer, age 67, of Clarkton went home to be with the Lord on Monday, April 30, 2018. She is preceded in death by her parents: Charles and Margaret Hamilton, her husband Bennett Packer, a brother: Bobby Hamilton and an infant sister Scarlett Hamilton. Eloise leaves behind three sons: Jeffery Packer and wife Amanda of Whiteville; Ruffty Packer and wife Barbara of Bladenboro; Bennett Gibson and wife Carrie of Bladenboro; one daughter: Tammy Waters and husband Bryan of Swansboro; three brothers: Stanley Hamilton and wife Clarissa of Whiteville; Gregory Hamilton and wife Susan of Wilson; Jimmy Hamilton and wife Helen of Rocky Point; eight grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, three step-grandchildren and four step-great-grandchildren.

Eloise was a strong willed and independent lady. She was the backbone of her family and a loving friend to all. Eloise was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone that needed it, sometimes even if it meant doing without herself. She had a heart of gold and will greatly be missed by all that knew and loved her.

The family will receive friends from 5-7 pm on Wednesday, May 2, 2018 at Bladen Gaskins Funeral Home in Elizabethtown. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 3rd at 2 pm at Bladen Gaskins Funeral Home Chapel officiated by Rev. Johnny Guyton. Burial will follow the services in the Salem Cemetery in Clarkton.
