Eva Edwards

Eva Wright Edwards, 73, of Bladenboro passed away on Friday, April 7, 2017. She was preceded in death by parents: Lawrence and Mary Jane Wright; husband: Jimmie A. Edwards; son: Christopher Ashley Edwards; sister: Mary Ann Wright Davis; brother: Dennis Wright. Eva is survived by two sons: Michael Jay Edwards and fiancé Diane Maxwell of Stedman, Gary Scott Edwards of Bladenboro; daughter: Pamela Edwards Lucas and husband Kevin of Roseboro; brother: Lonnie Wright of Bladenboro; three sisters: Betty Ann Wright Galant of Charlotte, Jeannette Wright Vaughn of Bladenboro, Ina Murray of New Bern; eight grandchildren: Heather Leanne Colwell, Jayme Nance, Brandon Edwards, Whitney Fowler Edwards, Katlynn Edwards, Jayson Edwards, Jessica Lucas, Jacob Dylan Edwards; six great-grandchildren: Reilly Scott Edwards, Chloe Edwards, Emily Jackson, Ian Jackson, Rachel Jackson, Mattix Sorenson.

Eva was a caring, outgoing, feisty lady who had a flamboyant way about her. She loved to dance and play piano. Eva was always well dressed and enjoyed singing country music. She was a leader and will be missed.

The family will receive friends from 6-8pm on Monday, April 10, 2017 at Bladen-Gaskins Funeral Home in Elizabethtown. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, April 11, 2017 at 1pm at Bladen-Gaskins Funeral Home. Burial will follow service in Bladen Memorial Gardens in Elizabethtown.
