Evelyn Fowler

Evelyn Merle Clark Fowler, 81, of Council passed away Sunday, September 11, 2016. She was preceded in death by her husband Loyed Fowler and her parents Grethro Gaston and Drucilla Pait Savage Clark.
She is survived by two sons: Dale Fowler of Elizabethtown and Darryl Fowler and wife Tammy M. of Clarkton, two daughters: Dianne Beavers and husband Kenneth of the home and Donna Greene and husband Casey of Elizabethtown; one brother Riley Clark of Whiteville; sister in law Inez Fowler of Council and four grandchildren: Kimberly Beavers, Jeremy Beavers, Julian Greene, and Lydia Fowler. The family will receive friends from 7-9 pm on Tuesday, September 13, 2016 at Lisbon Baptist Church. Funeral services will be held at Lisbon Baptist Church on Wednesday, September 14, 2016 at 3 pm followed by a burial in Mt. Horeb Cemetery in Council. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Liberty Hospice in Whiteville.
