Evvie Priest

Evvie M. Priest, 96, of Clarkton, entered into eternal rest Friday, November 2, 2007.

Mrs. Priest was the daughter of the late Newton Jasper and Mary Jane McDonald.

She was predeceased by her husband, Charles David Priest; a daughter, Connie Hooper; eight brothers and two sisters.

Mrs. Priest is survived by one son, Layton Priest of Clarkton; one daughter, Margaret Womble of Trinity; one brother, Ervin McDonald of Allenton; seven grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends at the home of Layton and Betty Priest, 107 W. Graham Street, Clarkton, NC.

A graveside service will be Sunday, November 4, 2007 at 2:00 PM with Rev. Stuart Link officiating.
