Felix Hardgraves

Felix 'Ted" Theodore Hardgraves, age 58 of Clarkton, died on Saturday, April 27, 2013 at Lower Cape Fear Hospice of Whiteville. He is preceded in death by his parents, Felix and Annie Ruth Hardgraves. Ted was in the Food Service Industry for most of his life. He is survived by his wife, Retha Meares Hardgraves and son Mark Hardgraves, both of the home; daughter, Laura Batten and husband Andrew of Clarkton; brother, John Hardgraves and wife Charlene of Chadbourn; sisters, Lane Bartley and husband Mike of Whiteville, Debbie Bass of Clarkton, Ann Marlowe and husband Hartford of Clarkton, Karen Hendricks and husband Jim of Whiteville, Jane Ammons and husband Donald of Evergreen; and three grandchildren, Audrey, Dalyn And Shaleigh Batten. The family will receive friends Monday, April 29th from 4:00 to 4:45 p.m. at Clarkton First Baptist Church. Services will follow at 5:00 p.m. Burial will be held at Clarkton Cemetery.
