Fernie Todd

Fernie M. Todd, 80, of Bladenboro, NC, died Tuesday, June 25, 2007, at Bladen County Hospital, Elizabethtown, NC.



Mr. Todd was a Navy veteran.



The visitation will be held from 7:00 until 9:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 27, at Bladen Funeral Home. The funeral will be conducted at 4:00 p.m. Thursday, June 28, at Oak Grove Original Free Will Baptist Church, Bladenboro with Rev. Larry Greenwood officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Original Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery.



Mr. Todd is predeceased by his son, Kenneth Todd.



He is survived by his wife, Larue D. Todd of the home; step sons, Dale Adams of Warsaw, Ronald Meares of Whiteville, and Rev. Elvin Meares of Bladenboro; daughter, Linda Capps of Goldsboro; brother, Jessie Todd of Loris, SC, 3 grandchildren; 7 step grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; and 9 step great grandchildren.
