Frances Greene

Frances Smith Greene, 86, of Elizabethtown entered into eternal rest January 1, 2010.

She was predeceased by her parents, Robert Dexter and Rosa Lee Sutton Smith; husband, Mack Greene; two sisters, Grace S. Jessup and Dorothy Collier; two brothers, CB Smith and Bobby Smith; and a granddaughter, Katie Greene.

She is survived by two sons, Hobby Greene and wife, Janie and Lee Greene and wife, Paula all of Elizabethtown; three grandsons, Lane Greene, Jackson Greene, and Adam Greene; and two granddaughters, Ann Hamill Greene and Molly Greene.

The family will receive friends at Mrs. Greene's home, 104 Greene Street, from 5:00 until 7:00 pm on Saturday, January 2, 2010.

A celebration of life service will be held Sunday, January 3, 2010 at 5:00 pm at Trinity United Methodist Church with Rev. Bob Bergland officiating. The service will be preceded by a private burial in Elizabethtown City Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Trinity United Methodist Church (Building Fund), or Lower Cape Fear Hospice.
