Fredrick Paul Clabaugh, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, passed away peacefully at his home on January 1, 2026, at the age of 89. Born on March 11, 1936, in Detroit, Michigan, he was a man of unwavering strength and kindness, whose life touched the hearts of many.
Fredrick was a proud veteran who served his country in the United States Marine Corps. His dedication to service extended beyond his military commitment; he carried the values of honor and integrity throughout his life.
He is survived by his cherished wife, Doris Ward Clabaugh, and their children: Ruth Clabaugh, Timothy Clabaugh, Seth Clabaugh, Michael Clabaugh, and Keturah Graham-Clabaugh. Fredrick was a devoted father, providing a loving and nurturing environment for his family and instilling in them the same values he cherished. He is also survived by an extensive legacy of grandchildren and great-grandchildren, including Rachel, Elizabeth, Tim Jr., Jerry, Guy, Sarah, Nathan, Abigail, Matthew, Mary, Nina, Jessica, Michael Jr., Hannah, Shade, Deonna, Brittney, Joseph, and Bailey, along with forty-two great-grandchildren who brought immense joy to his life.
Fredrick was preceded in death by his parents, Harry and Florence Grant Clabaugh, and his beloved sisters, Peggy and Karen. Their memory lived on in the stories and traditions he shared with his family, weaving connections between generations.

A graveside servie with Military Honors will be held in the Memory Lane Cemetery off of Butler Mill Road, Bladenboro at a date to be determined.
