Gary Lee Hauser, Jr.

Gary Lee Hauser, Jr., age 55, of Fayetteville, North Carolina, passed away on January 30, 2026, at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center. Born on September 19, 1970, in Cumberland County, he was the beloved son of the late Gary Lee Hauser, Sr. and Neva Gayle Barnhill Hauser.

Gary Lee was a kindhearted individual who devoted much of his life to caring for his family. He cherished his sister, Judy Dufault, and her husband, Jim, who reside in Elizabethtown, along with his nieces and nephews: David Lee Russ, Alexis Celeste Monroe, James Anthony Russ, Micheal Lennon English, and several great nieces and nephews. His love for family was evident to all who knew him.

A passionate gamer, Gary Lee found joy in discussing gaming and comic books with friends and loved ones. He also enjoyed playing games, watching movies, and reading, activities that brought him much happiness throughout his life. His engaging personality made him a treasured companion and friend, always ready to lend an ear or give you the shirt off his back.

Gary Lee's kindness extended beyond his family; he was a giver at heart, and his generosity touched many lives. He was a faithful person who loved the Lord, and his faith provided him with strength and comfort. Though Gary Lee's physical presence will be sorely missed, his warm spirit and the memories he created with his loved ones will live on in their hearts.

A celebration of life service will be held on February 22, 2026 at 3:00 pm at the Second Chance Church, 205 S. Poplar Street, Elizabethtown, NC.
