Geneva Dailey

Geneva Lynnette Dailey, 89, of Elizabethtown, passed away on Thursday, December 29, 2011. She was born in Bladen County on February 12, 1922 to the late Graham and Lula Bryant Hester.



She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Thomas Dailey; one brother, Edgar Hester and three sisters, Virginia McClure, Helen Butler and Lucille Byrd.



She is survived by two daughters, Vicky Taylor and husband Ron of Elizabethtown and Gloria McSwain and husband Freddie of Elizabethtown; one sister, Gray Chauncey of Lake Waccamaw; three grandsons, Miller Taylor, Colin McSwain and Frederick McSwain and wife Marisa, and several nieces and nephews.



Family will receive friends on Saturday, December 31, 2011 from 5:00 until 7:00 pm at Bladen-Gaskins Funeral Home. At other times at the home of Gloria and Freddie McSwain, 2201 Second Avenue, Elizabethtown.



A graveside service will be held on Sunday, January 1, 2012 at 4:00 pm at Bethlehem Cemetery, White Oak, NC with Rev. Chris Carroll officiating.
