George Burton

George Thomas Burton, age 86, of Clarkton, NC passed away Tuesday, March 12, 2013 at home. He is predeceased by his parents Marvin and Joy Burton, one brother Marvin Burton Jr., three grandsons: Jonathan Shunpert, Albert Parks, and Joseph Ransom, and one great-granddaughter Angelica Parks. He is survived by his wife Paula Burton of the home, six sons: Danny Parks, John Wayne Parks, Sammy Parks, Phil Parks, Paul Parks and Alfred Schmitt, three daughters: Gloria Shumpert, Wanda Davis, and Marjorie Musselwhite, one sister Annie Kate Cox, 24 grandchildren and 28 great grandchildren. A private viewing will be held on March 13, 2013 at Bladen Gaskins Funeral Home.
