George Norris

George "GL" Norris, age 84, of Bladenboro, passed away on Thursday, February 7, 2013. He is predeceased by his parents Ed and Nedie Norris, his wife Alberta Williams Norris, an infant son Steve Ladon, one brother E.L. Norris, and two sisters: Louella Prevatte and Louis Hainey. He is survived by two sons: Ronnie Norris and wife Sherrie of Graham, and Eddie Norris and wife Stephanie of Abbottsburg, three daughters; Sandra Nance of Whiteville, Debbie Butler and husband Billy of Charlotte, and Beverly Bethea and husband Michael of Elizabethtown; two sisters: Hazel Green of Fairbluff, and Annie Lou Long of Charlotte. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at 2:30 pm on Sunday, February 10th at New Light Church in Bladenboro followed by a funeral service at 3:30pm officiated by Rev. Dale Hester. Burial will follow services at Old Field Cemetery in Bladenboro.
