Geraldine Bungert

Geraldine Bryan Bungert, age 65 of Bladenboro, died Friday, November 21, 2014 at home. She is preceded in death by her parents, Wade and Jodie Dowless Bryan; a brother, Herman Bryan and a sister, Gladys Dean Bryan. She is survived by her husband, John Bungert (John's Upholstery) of the home; a son, John Edward Bungert Jr. and wife Marissa of Bladenboro; daughter, Jennifer "Strawberry" Bright and husband Tony of Bladenboro; two brothers, Ronnie Bryan of Tabor City and Randy Bryan of Bladenboro; four sisters, Shirley Bordeaux of Bladenboro, Katherine Ludlum of Bladenboro, Myrtle Faye Lynch of Rocky Mount, and Robin Smithies of Black Mountain; nine grandchildren, Ashley, Amber, Austin, Micha, Trinity, Martina, Jaylinn, Layla, and Lonnie Jr.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, November 25, 2014 from 12:00 to 12:45 p.m. at Bladen-Gaskins Funeral Home. A Graveside Service will follow at 1:00 p.m. at Community Baptist Church officiated by Rev. Darin Andrews. Donations may be made to the funeral fund at Bladen-Gaskins.
