Gertrude "Trudy" Russ

Gertrude “Trudy” Elizabeth Russ, 84, of Bladenboro passed away Friday, February 5, 2021. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ruffin and Lucy Shaw; husband, Webb Russ, Jr.; son, Dewey Russ; sisters: Irene Lewis, Ruth Ezell, Rachel Russ, Katherine Shaw and brother, George Shaw.

Trudy leaves behind her son, Shane Russ and wife, Katrin of Bladenboro, sister, Dixie Britt of Clarkton; five grandchildren: Jonathan Russ, Jr., Joel Russ, Joshua Russ, Joseph Russ and Aaron Russ; four great-grandchildren: Aiden Russ, Keithan Russ, Allister Russ and Gaston Russ.

Trudy loved God and her family. She was a caring, affectionate lady who enjoyed singing Christian songs and taking care of others. She loved people, flowers and her fishing pond. She will be missed by her special puppy, Pebbles and by all who knew her.

A private graveside service will be held.
