Gladysteen Pait

Gladysteen Hester Pait, 101, of Bladenboro, passed away on Wednesday, April 8, 2020. She was preceded in death by her parents: Matthew and Sudie Hester; husband, Theron Pait; great-granddaughter, Miley Pait; four brothers: TY Hester, Leo Hester, Opie Hester, Eldon Hester; four sisters: Versie Hickman, Martilla Freeman, Rometta Warren and Hattie Jane Miller.

Gladysteen leaves behind her son, Matthew Pait (Renaye) of Bladenboro; daughter, Pam Locklear (Joe) of Bladenboro; sister, Tennessee Shipman of Oak Island; seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

The family would like to thank the staff of Elizabethtown Nursing Center and Community Home Care as well as her special nurse, Tracy Ross, for their love and support.

A private graveside service will be held on Friday, April 10, 2020.
