Harriet King

Harriet Estelle King, 81, of Elizabethtown passed away on Monday, March 9, 2020. She was preceded in death by her parents, Wilford King and Ethel Lee Singletary King, one son, Freddie Brisson and one brother, Jay King. Harriet leaves behind one sister, Jacqueline King Scarborough Sessoms, three grandchildren: Kyle Brisson, Hanna Guyton, and Garrett Brisson, four great grandchildren: Levi Guyton, Hailey Guyton, Garrett Brisson Jr. and Lydia Brisson, a special niece, Sonya King Edge and  several  other nieces and nephews.

Harriet was a fun, loving, outgoing and independent woman. She adored her family and loved nothing better than to cook a meal for them. She also enjoyed keeping her yard tidy, working her flower gardens and trips to the beach. Her charming and witty demeanor will be missed.

A Memorial service will be held at 5 pm on Thursday, March 12, 2020 at Bladen Gaskins Funeral Home in Elizabethtown with Rev. Cameron McGill officiating.
