Helen Hales

Mrs. Helen Sealey Hales, of Bladenboro passed away on Monday, January 21, 2013 at Wesley Pines in Lumberton.

Mrs. Hales was born on August 15, 1925 to the late I.P and Alice Ivey Sealey. She is preceded in death by her husband, David W. Hales; three brothers, John, Buck and IP Jr. and three sisters, Vidalia Hall, Margaret Sealey and Betty Stone.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, January 22, at Bladen-Gaskins Funeral Home from 6:00 until 8:00 pm.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, January 23, at 11:00 am at First Baptist Church with Rev. Bert Young officiating. Burial will follow in the Hickory Church Cemetery.

Mrs. Helen is survived by her two sons, David Hales Jr. and wife Christy of Bladenboro; Chet Hales and wife Beth of Ocean Isle Beach, two brothers, Fuller Sealey and wife Nancy of Lumberton; Paul Sealey and wife Margaret of Florence, SC; two sisters, Lillian Johnson of Raleigh; Jackie Musselwhite of Lumberton; and three grandchildren, Casey, Cassidy and Camryn Hales.
