Horace Anders

Samuel "Horace" Anders, age 74, of Elizabethtown passed away on Tuesday, August 28, 2018 at Lower Cape Fear Hospice in Whiteville. He is preceded in death by his parents: Sam Anders and Joe Annie Hammond Anders, both his wives: Hilda Elkins Anders and Fay Phillips Anders, one sister: Doris Faye Dawson (Bill) and one brother: Dewey Jessie Anders (Dot). Survivors include his two sons: Wayne and Timmy Anders, both of Lumberton; one daughter; Pamela (Pam) Ruth Anders of the home; three brothers: David Anders (Darlene), Marshall Ray Anders (Katraine), and Sammy Anders, one sister: Annie Ruth Davis, one granddaughter: Samantha Joe Anders, and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 1-2:30 pm on Friday, August 31st at Bladen Gaskins Funeral Home in Elizabethtown followed by a funeral service at 2:30 pm. Burial will follow the services in Galeed Baptist Church Cemetery in Bladenboro.
